The Glashütte Original Senator Excellence Panorama Date 1-36-03-04-02-71 debuted in 2024 as a stainless steel model paired with a matching metal bracelet. The 42mm case is finished with a mix of polished and satin-brushed surfaces, framing a galvanic blue dial with sunburst finish. Applied white gold hour markers and sword-shaped hands provide crisp contrast and refined legibility. At 4 o’clock sits the brand’s hallmark Panorama Date, enabled by two concentrically mounted discs positioned on the same plane. Its jumping mechanism ensures a clean, precise transition at midnight. Powering this reference is the manufacture caliber 36, an automatic movement with a silicon balance spring and 100-hour power reserve. It is visible through the sapphire case back and tested to Glashütte Original’s Senator Excellence standard, which exceeds the requirements of the German Chronometer Test.
