Keeping its finger firmly on the pulse of the needs expressed by aviation professionals, Breitling has developed the Airwolf. Designed in a resolutely functional spirit, this chronograph is an impressive wrist instrument making the most of the possibilities afforded by electronics. Its numerous functions have been kept to those actually required by professional pilots: 1/100th of a second chronograph with split times, alarm, countdown, 2nd timezone with independent alarm, UTC and perpetual calendar. Handling of these functions is designed to be logical, simple and direct, and an NVG-compatible display backlighting system enables night-time read-off. Its aeronautical vocation is underscored by Breitling’s exclusive rack-and-pinnion mounted slide rule. The Airwolf is also endowed with undeniable attractive aesthetic assets, including perfectly ergonomic curving chronograph pushpieces and, above all, a turbine-shaped construction on the caseback serving as a resonance chamber for the alarm and the other audible indications. CHRONO 10:10 did an excellent job indeed. From the feedback to the purchase offer that was given within the hour on a Sunday to the updates regarding the shipment - the service was spot on all the way. The watch arrived in less than 24 hours after being sent (Destination: Germany) and was packed up very diligently with bonus items added.
