Frédéric Arnault Appointed CEO of Loro Piana

 

Frédéric Arnault has been appointed CEO of the Italian brand Loro Piana. He is the son of Bernard Arnault, the wealthiest person in France. This was reported by Vogue Business.

Loro Piana is an Italian luxury brand specializing in wool and cashmere clothing. The company is part of the LVMH conglomerate, which is led by Bernard Arnault. The current CEO of Loro Piana, Damien Bertrand, has been appointed as the deputy CEO of Louis Vuitton. During the transition period, Frédéric Arnault will work alongside him as the head of the brand.

In another executive shift, Pierre-Emmanuel Angeloglou, head of Fendi, will move to Dior as the deputy CEO.

Currently, Frédéric Arnault holds the position of Chairman and CEO of LVMH's watch division, overseeing brands such as Tag Heuer, Hublot, and Zenith. With this new appointment, Bernard Arnault's fourth child makes a strategic move from the "hard luxury" sector (watches and jewelry) into fashion, which is LVMH's core business, as noted by Vogue Business.
