Arnold Schwarzeneggre’s AP didn’t make it through the customs today
Today, the iconic Terminator and Predator star had a very unpleasant experience at the airport in Munchen.
Arnold was flying to Austria for his climate charity but was held by the customs for “not declaring” his Audemars Piguet watch which he intended to sell at the charity auction.
The customs officials were curious that day since the airport got information about an “ultra VIP passenger”. When they found out it was Arnie, they stopped him - more out of the chance to speak to him - and asked him to open his suitcases.

They were very surprised when they found an undeclared AP in there. According to the Munich customs office, he was supposed to declare it, since it’s technically an imported good.
For Arnie, this started a cascade of very unpleasant events.
First, the customs have given him a fine of approximately 35,000 Euros. Arnold was ready to pay it by card on the spot, but their terminal wasn’t working, so they had to go to a bank, which again had some complications.
Finally, Arnold was able to pay it when the customs brought a functioning terminal.
The whole procedure resulted in him losing around 3 hours. According to him, it was bullying and his legal team will be handling it.
His AP, which was supposedly valued at around 20,000 Euros, didn’t make it through the customs and is still in Munich.
