What Happened During The Raid?
The investigation began after a Patek Philippe watch, valued at around €23,000, was stolen during a burglary in Derby. Just three days later, authorities managed to track it to a suspect's residence in Inglewood, Croydon. Acting fast, South Derbyshire Magistrates’ Court approved a search warrant, leading to a significant discovery on January 28.
When officers arrived at the address, they found the missing Patek Philippe, but also stumbled upon a vast collection of suspected stolen goods. Among them were three Rolex watches, including one estimated to be worth around €17,500. The sheer scale of the seizure suggests a potentially larger operation at play, with numerous victims still to be identified.
