Introducing Eight New Rolex Daytona Dials, Including a Turquoise Blue and Black Version: What We Know
No Watches & Wonders event feels complete without a fresh release of new Daytona models in precious metals. The Daytona collection has been reimagined time and time again, with many fans eagerly awaiting the return of steel versions. However, I’m particularly fond of the Daytonas on Oysterflex straps, especially the four models below.
First up, we have a stunning new yellow gold Daytona with a turquoise and black dial, reference 126518LN, paired with an Oysterflex bracelet. This watch evokes the spirit of "Daytona Beach" and Tudor's "Flamingo Blue," but in a more mature, modern form—and I absolutely love it.

Turquoise Dial Daytona
But perhaps the most exciting return for me is the meteorite dials, which were briefly absent but are now back. I’ve always dreamed of owning a white gold Daytona with a meteorite dial. It takes the already stunning silver-dialed version to another level, now featuring the white gold surround on the Cerachrom bezel. For those who prefer yellow or rose gold, those options are also available.

While we haven’t covered all the specifications yet, the details should be familiar to enthusiasts. All the new Daytonas are powered by the caliber 4131 chronograph movement, offering 72 hours of power reserve and featuring solid casebacks. For more information on the specs of the current generation of Daytonas, feel free to check out our previous coverage. We’ll be sure to share our personal favorites after seeing the watches in person.

Our Thoughts
We'll have the chance to see these watches up close soon, so I'll hold off on most of my opinions until then. However, one interesting change for me is the return of the "Mayer" Daytona in yellow gold, now featuring yellow subdials instead of the previous green ones. This new version almost feels like "Go Pack Go" colors, a nod to my hometown of Green Bay and its iconic football team. I’ll reserve final judgment until I see it in person. The white gold Daytona with a blue dial is a timeless classic and incredibly versatile. And then there's the chocolate brown with black subdials—while not groundbreaking, they’re exactly what many collectors have been hoping for.
