Introducing the Czapek Antarctique Mount Erebus Deep Blue: A Luxurious Gold Edition of the Iconic Sports Watch
Czapek made waves in 2020 with the launch of their Antarctique luxury sports watch, which not only featured a shaped case, integrated bracelet, and textured dial but also boasted the brand's first in-house caliber. This timepiece was a breath of fresh air, offering a unique and original design with exquisite finishing.

Responding to customer demand, Czapek has now unveiled a new edition of the Antarctique: the Mount Erebus Deep Blue model, available in gold. The 40.5mm gold case retains the same design as its steel predecessor and can be paired with either a matching integrated bracelet or a rubber strap fitted with a gold folding buckle, providing a touch of versatility.

One of the standout features of the Mount Erebus Deep Blue is its intriguing lamé dial. Czapek revisited the original design from four years ago, creating a stunning textured satin finish using a special comb. Achieving a deep blue color through Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD), the dial is complemented by sword hands and indexes fitted with luminescent material, matching the color of the case.

Powering the Antarctique Mount Erebus is the self-winding caliber SXH5, Czapek's first movement developed and produced in-house. This 30mm movement is adorned with seven open-worked bridges, including a transversal bridge that holds the variable inertia balance wheel in place. Operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour, it offers a comfortable 60-hour power reserve from a single barrel.
