Rolex Expands Its Empire: New Mega Production Center in Bulle to Boost Future Output
In 2023, Rolex reaffirmed its position as a titan in the watch industry, crafting 1.24 million watches and achieving sales of $11.5 billion. Expanding its realm, Rolex announced the construction of an expansive new production hub in Bulle, set to open its doors in 2029 and expected to significantly boost the company's production capabilities.

The company employs around 14,000 individuals across the globe, with its headquarters located in Geneva. The movements originate in Bienne, while Plan-le-Ouates serves as the cradle for designs of cases, dials, and additional components.

The forthcoming facility in Bulle, sprawling over 100,000 square meters and costing upwards of CHF 1 billion, represents a major expansion for Rolex, accounting for a fifth of its total production volume.
