The Omega Seamaster Diver 300M in Bronze Gold and Burgundy Finally Makes The Iconic Dive Watch More Luxurious

26/02/2025

What’s New?

Omega has just dropped a fresh take on the legendary Seamaster Diver 300M, adding some more character and luxury to the legendary Bond diver. Meet the new Seamaster in Bronze Gold with a rich burgundy bezel, an unexpected but welcome combo that adds some warmth and depth to the classic dive watch.

This latest release follows in the footsteps of the 2020 Seamaster 300M 007 Edition, the watch Daniel Craig wore in No Time to Die. We still don’t know who the next Bond will be, but what we do know is that Omega isn’t waiting around to keep the Seamaster fresh.

The real star here is Omega’s proprietary Bronze Gold alloy, which is an advanced blend of palladium and silver that resists the usual greenish patina that typical bronze picks up over time. Instead, it develops a subtle, warm glow that won’t stain your wrist or look too aged too quickly. That’s a big win for anyone who loves the look of bronze but doesn’t want to deal with the mess.

Design and Features

At 42mm, the Bronze Gold case maintains the classic proportions of the Seamaster Diver 300M, with the standout feature being that deep burgundy ceramic bezel, which gives the watch a bit of a vintage touch while still feeling fresh and up to date. Omega paired it with a matte black dial, decorated with PVD-coated Bronze Gold hands and blackened indices, all filled with Super-LumiNova for top-notch visibility in low light.

The watch is available on two different straps:

  • A Bronze Gold mesh bracelet with a foldover clasp (for those who want to lean all the way into the gold aesthetic).

  • A black rubber strap with a Bronze Gold buckle (for a sportier, more casual look).

No matter which one you go for, the Seamaster still delivers on its core function: it’s a proper dive watch with 300m of water resistance, a helium escape valve, and a unidirectional bezel. But let’s be honest - most people won’t be taking this thing into deep waters. This one’s just as at home at a nice dinner as it is on a beach.

Under the Hood

Powering the watch is Omega’s Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8806. This movement is METAS-certified, meaning it’s accurate between 0 and +5 seconds per day and resistant to magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss. If you want a watch that keeps up with your life, this is it.

Thoughts on the Watch

We’ll say it straight: this was a great decision by Omega. The Seamaster is already an icon, but this Bronze Gold and burgundy combo gives it a fresh, luxurious feel without being too flashy. We’ve always been curious about gold watches, but a full yellow-gold piece can feel a bit too much. This strikes a perfect balance - it’s warm, refined, and just different enough to stand out.

The mesh bracelet is an interesting choice, and while it looks great the aesthetic, the rubber strap is probably the way to go if you want to keep things versatile. That being said, the bracelet option is great for someone looking for something a little dressier.

At its core, this is still a Seamaster, and that means it’s tough, reliable, and built to perform. It’s got the heritage, the tech, and now, a unique material that gives it a new twist.
