Patek Philippe Nautilus 40th Anniversary Edition 5711/1P-001
If you say Nautilus, most people imagine this watch. Or at least, the model which closely resembles this special edition - the 5711.
What is the main difference?
Once you put it on your wrist, you will feel it. Unlike your traditional 5711, the 40th-anniversary edition is made entirely from platinum! With this limited edition, which consists of only 700 watches, Patek focused on making it special, but true to the soul of the original Genta watch.
That’s why we can enjoy all the signature attributes of the legendary series - the unmistakable blue dial with a wave pattern, a beautiful date window at 3 o’clock, and the iconic see-through case back, where we can observe the magic happening inside the watch.
Apart from the platinum, Patek added a small detail to make this watch unmistakably collectable; a barely visible number 40 with the dates 1976-2016, marking the respectable run of the Nautilus line.
As far as a collector’s piece, you will hardly find anything better.

Rose Gold Patek Philippe Nautilus 5712R-001
Do you ever have the feeling that for some gala events or certain situations, it seems almost inappropriate to wear rose gold? After all, it makes most timepieces flashy and loud.
Well, that is not the case with the 5712R.
With a set of practical complications which we usually find on dress watches, the 5712R is a symbol of class and elegance. On the brown dial, we can find a power reserve indicator, a beautifully done date sub-dial with an integrated moon-phase indicator, and a small-seconds sub-dial.
Patek also added a very nice touch to this series - a simple bracelet adjustment of approximately 4 millimetres which you can do quickly and without any tools. Comes in handy during hot days.
All this in combination with the rather unusual rose gold makes this timepiece one of our favorite Nautiluses of all time. For some people, it can still be a little too opulent or flashy, but we think it’s simply…stunning.
What a watch.

Patek Philippe Nautilus 5740G with a perpetual calendar
The two best things Patek has given the watch world? Most would say Nautilus and Perpetual Calendar. The definition of artistic beauty and the exemplary masterwork of the Haute Horlogerie.
Now, the Nautilus 5740G combines both, creating a watch of a brand-new caliber.
The mix of the standard steel 5711 with the iconic blue dial and the mesmerizing perpetual calendar complication is something out of this world. On the familiar dial, we can see the date, day, month, year, season, and phase of the moon, all done in a beautiful and well-thought-out manner.
Usually, this timepiece is worn by celebrities like Lewis Hamilton, but more and more watch lovers are finding their way to it.
If you asked us, Patek did a really good job with this one.
All of these watches can be found either on our website or on our Chrono24 page! Check them out!
