Description
The Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Tribute Faridun Tests His Sons Q39334S2 debuted in 2025 as a boutique-exclusive limited edition. Inspired by the Persian epic Shahnameh, the reverse side features a hand-painted enamel miniature scene depicting Faridun—disguised as a dragon—testing the courage of his sons beneath a gold paillonné sky. The artwork, which uses over a dozen enamel colors, required 100 hours of meticulous craftsmanship.
The 18k white gold case measures 45.6 by 27.4 mm with a thickness of 9.73 mm. The front dial features a hand-guilloché herringbone pattern covered in five layers of translucent blue grand feu enamel, completed through seven kiln firings.
Inside ticks the manually wound Calibre 822, developed and assembled in-house. The movement comprises 108 components, 19 jewels, and provides a 42-hour power reserve at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour. Time is indicated by dauphine hands over applied hour markers. The watch is worn on a blue alligator strap with an 18k white gold double folding buckle. Water resistance is rated at 3 bar.
