Description
The Glashütte Original Seventies Chronograph Panorama Date 1-37-02-20-02-70 debuted in 2025 as a limited edition of 100 pieces. It is part of the Seventies Chronograph Panorama Date line, distinguished by its square-shaped case measuring 40 x 40 mm in stainless steel with softly rounded corners. Water resistance is rated at 100 meters (10 bar).
The dial of this edition is described by the manufacture as “Plasma,” a vibrant purple tone that shifts in appearance depending on the angle of the light. It is paired with black subdials featuring a fine concentric “vinyl” decoration, and a black-framed Panorama Date positioned at 6 o’clock. Applied indices and hands are coated with Super-LumiNova to ensure legibility in low-light conditions.
Power comes from the in-house self-winding 37-02, visible through the sapphire crystal case back. This integrated chronograph movement features a flyback function, column wheel, and a power reserve of approximately 70 hours. Finishing details include the Glashütte three-quarter plate with stripe finish, a skeletonised rotor with the Double-G logo, polished bevels, and blued screws.
This edition is available either on a stainless steel bracelet with fine adjustment or on a black rubber strap.
