Argentinian Police Search for Liam Payne’s Missing Rolex After Tragic Death
Argentinian police continue to investigate the death of Liam Payne, formerly of One Direction and are now focused on locating his missing £30,000 Rolex. Payne was reportedly wearing the luxury watch hours before his fatal fall from a Buenos Aires hotel balcony on October 16.
The watch was not found during recent raids on the homes of three suspects or two female escorts who were with him before his death, although the women are being treated as witnesses, not suspects.

La Nacion reports that another search of Payne’s hotel suite will occur within 72 hours, as investigators believe the watch could have been overlooked. CCTV footage shows Payne wearing the Rolex just hours before his death, leading authorities to suspect it may have been stolen.

Three men, including a friend who had been with Payne, are now under formal investigation, facing charges of "abandoning a person followed by death" and "drug facilitation," both carrying potential prison sentences. Rogelio ‘Roger’ Nores, Payne’s close friend, has publicly denied any involvement, stating he left the hotel 40 minutes before Payne’s fall and was unaware of the tragedy until later.

Prosecutors ruled out suicide, citing Payne’s semi-conscious state due to alcohol, cocaine, and an antidepressant at the time of his fall. Meanwhile, fans have mourned the pop star with tributes outside the hotel. Payne’s family, including his father Geoff, recently returned his body to the UK for final funeral arrangements.
